TB-Security Administrator

If many users have to access the central TOPOBASE™ geodata server, they usually do not access the database directly: each individual logs in as personal guest user with personal password. Here, each guest user can be given specific rights. This ensures data protection and allows precise logging of access to data.

Effective tool for database administrators

The TB-Security Administrator supports the data administrator in creating and configuring users. It enables the administrator to create guest users easily and then to assign them rights by means of roles (read, read/write, or other rights). Once set up, the rights concept can be stored as configuration and re-used again and again for new users.

The TB-Security Administrator is a very efficient tool for effective and error-free system administration, especially in large projects with many workplaces and different rights.
Although the TB-Security Administrator's functionality does not exceed the functionality of the tools provided by ORACLE, its automation abilities make recurring functions reproducible, thus avoiding errors and inconsistencies.
