TOPOBASE™ is a Geo-Information system developed in accordance with the specifications of the international OpenGIS - consortium, perfectly suited to the individual needs of Local enterprises, city, and municipal administrations.

Due to the collection, storage, examination, adjusting, integration, analysis and representation of data, in its spatial context, the possibility for evaluations and inquiries is achieved with a total new approach.

Specialized applications geared to the individual needs of Local enterprises, City and Municipal Administrations were developed for the open Geo data server TOPOBASE™. They are available as standard solutions and have already been sucessfully installed by numerous customers. These user modules interlock back to the same central database. They are mutually able to be randomly combined and are supplemented to the comprehensive GIS.

Moreover, the users can define the entire media themselves and according to need in the simplest way, build up various cadastral applications or applications for which till now, no suitable software package exists.

ORACLE Spatial and Autodesk

Based on the relational database system ORACLE with the spatial cartridge, the complete data inventory (geometry, topology, meta- and attribute data) is administered with TOPOBASE™ into one single, seamless environment. With the concept of long transactions and version management several users are able to work together on the database, without any inconsistency. The smooth integration of the system into a heterogeneous IT-environment is ensured. The users valuable existing data can be taken over trouble-free and used.
Further administrative data are intergrated to SAP by way of direct connection . Without lengthy training, the access and utilization of the data is possible for anyone that is equipped with Web-Browser.
For the graphic presentation and layout, Autodesk - MAP, Envision and Map Guide are used. The open architecture also allows use by other geographic information systems e.g. GeoMedia, ArcView, and MapInfo.

TB Tree/Green
Collection, administration and invoice of lots for tree land registers and green space land registers: Plants and components; Trees/clusters of trees, parks and playgrounds, surface balances, administration of companies (care orders) more

TB Cemetery
Collection and administration of grave areas for a cemetery land register, care of the graves, history of the occupancy, additional facilities objects (waste and water places, lanterns and benches ...), document management (e.g. pictures of monument protected tombs or care of the grave contracts).

TB request for building
Administration and co-ordination of requests for building, master data; public reports, directory of the submitted documents, date overview acceptance of work, computation of the square meters and fees, generation of lists, notifications and overviews.

TB Space Planning
Use zones, distance lines, arrangement planning, special uses, groundwater protection, (cantonal increase requirements), calculation of offcuts (area quotas), representation model for zones and arrangement plans (REP), special use plan, conditions of the development,ground-water protection plan.

TB Hunting
Hunting land register, inquiry of hunting areas, determination of self-hunts, support during hunting meetings, plot-sharp representation of the hunted area in hunting land register plans.

Connection to various design/planing systems (e.g. MATEC (green areas), FIM cemetery), storage with StadtCAD HIPPODAMOS produced of the development plan/land use plans in the TOPOBASE™, data exchange with other systems, e.g. SICAD SQD import/export, Shape export, parametrical import from ASCII files, DXF, Excel tables and ACCESS data bases, export to ACCESS.
