TOPOBASE™ Applications such as e.g. the application sewer, gas, water, etc. have the generic user interface TB-Generic. TOPOBASE™ as the central, integrated database includes all geometry and attribute data.
In order to call them up, various masks are needed: For data entry, for inquiry and evaluation, for changing, for output.

TB-Generic provides such masks and furthermore makes it possible to create new masks or to change existing ones as desired. Thus the user can create his own subject shells and adjust existing TB-modules (TB-Electricity, TB-Gas, etc.) to his needs.

TB-Generic offers functions for data entry, searching, navigating and substituting. With this, the effort necessary for data entry and processing is reduced considerably.

Creation of own applications

Dialogs can be generated for each existing or generated (with TB-Administrator) table and for each feature. The link to the graphic is given automatically. For example: In order to establish a simple tree cadastre a «Tree» table is generated in TOPOBASE™. With TB-Generic the corresponding dialog is generated.
All fields not needed for registration are faded out. Data can be entered graphically with the help of AutoCAD Map or via the dialog.
