The core of the Geo-data servers is the relational database system Oracle with
the spatial cartridge.
Here the complete data inventory (geometry, topology, meta- and attribute data)
is administered into one single environment. The smooth integration of the system
into a heterogeneous IT-environment is ensured. The users valuable existing
data can be taken over trouble-free and used.
Without lengthy training, the access and utilization of the data is possible
for anyone that is equipped with Web-Browser.
For the graphic presentation and layout, Autodesk products are used.
The open architecture also allows use with different graphic systems e.g. GeoMedia,
ArcView, and MapInfo. Thus TOPOBASE™ is on the right
track. In order to set the best European standard for the Geo-data server: TOPOBASE™
is already available in the English, German, French, Italian and Swedish
languages and opens a broad users circle in all of Europe and other continents
