Crossing the Atlantic - TOPOBASE™ breaks into the US Market.

In December 2004, during the 12th Autodesk University in Las Vegas, c-plan had the excellent opportunity to present their Geo Data Server TOPOBASE™ to the North American public.

Despite keen competition, in the next years, c-plan wants to conquer the North American market. Market analysis indicated that the chances are good – particularly in the utility industries.
In the next years, many companies in the c-plan focus markets will have to migrate to a modern GIS. TOPOBASE™ with its modern software structure, the numerously generic business applications, the complete English development environment and the close relation with CAD, is ready to fill these demands.

The company Rational Technology in Seattle is the local partner of c-plan. Chris Gardner of Rational Technology comments on the presentation at the Autodesk University: “The great interest in TOPOBASE™ has overwhelmed us. We were able to present the system to numerous cities and municipalities as well as Utility Companies. With a few of them we now have concrete purchase negotiations.”

c-plan will intensify its market presence in the USA and will soon gain similar success like it has seen in Europe. The next step forward will be
the Autodesk OTC (One Team Conference) held
from 6th - 9th of March in Las Vegas.
