A.M.G.A. and c-plan® AG sign a contract

The two companies A.M.G.A. (Azienda Mediterranea Gas e Acqua) from Genoa - Italy and c-plan® AG from Bern – Switzerland, signed a contract that allows the company A.M.G.A. to develop their own Land Information System (LIS) using the technology of TOPOBASE™ as their bases.

In the market both companies are well known due to their high level of services and their excellent GIS / LIS products. The LIS product GEOsim from A.M.G.A. is used at many public utility companies for registering and managing their utility infrastructure. TOPOBASE™ from c-plan® is a international recognized and well known GIS product based on Oracle and Oracle Spatial and using Autodesk Products as graphical front-end.

In addition to their existing product suite, A.M.G.A. will develop a TOPOBASE™ based version of their GEOsim product. This high-end version of GEOsim is especially developed and suitable for middle size and large companies that need a future oriented and powerful solution, to maintain their utility infrastructure. The first release of GEOsim based on Topobase is planned for the end of 2004.
